Our Core

The Fashion Impact Collective is dedicated to redefining the fashion industry by cultivating a dynamic network of designers, brands, industry leaders, and ethical manufacturers committed to sustainability.

The Collective Playbook

The Playbook is more than a toolkit—it’s a strategic guide designed to support small and medium-sized luxury fashion brands in building credible, creative, and culturally aligned sustainability strategies. Grounded in real-world fashion business challenges, it helps brands move from intention to action with clarity and confidence.

The Collective Pathway

Each phase is designed to meet the SME where they are, while progressively building capacity and confidence. This approach ensures that participating brands not only measure their emissions, but also build the internal knowledge and infrastructure to continue reducing them long after the programme concludes.

Phase 1: Illuminate

SMEs gain a clear and structured starting point for their sustainability journey.

Phase 2: Quantify

We support brands in accurately measuring their environmental impact, identifying carbon hotspots, and establishing baselines to ensure a comprehensive view of their footprint.

Phase 3: Reimagine

Together, we co-develop a decarbonisation strategy and circularity-informed roadmap.

Phase 4: Activate

Finally, we prepare brands to take ownership of their sustainability journey and communicate their progress with confidence.

The Collective Standard

A sustainability maturity benchmark built exclusively for fashion SMEs

Scorecard Methodology

The Collective Standard Performance Scorecard is a bespoke benchmarking framework created specifically for fashion SMEs and microbusinesses. It is designed to assess the maturity of sustainability practices across key operational areas, offering brands and partners a clear snapshot of where each SME stands.

The framework draws on globally recognised ESG tools, including the B Corp Impact Assessment, CDP, Textile Exchange, and SBTi maturity models — but is uniquely adapted to reflect the realities of creative-led, small-scale fashion businesses.

Scorecard Strucutre

The scorecard offers a clear, structured framework for understanding where a brand stands in its sustainability journey and what steps are needed for future progress.

It assesses performance across five core pillars—Materials & Sourcing, Transportation & Logistics, Energy Use, Packaging, and Waste & End-of-Life—with four additional pillars evaluated where applicable: Reporting & Data Maturity, Product Circularity & Lifecycle, Governance & Strategic Integration, and Community & Social Impact. Each score is informed by a structured self-assessment, brand reflections, and supporting evidence or documentation.
